Satellite Program

The Satellite Program helped our members so that they could be reintroduced to schooling and take Life & Job Skills training to prepare themselves for the Work Force. This program provided the students a great experience back in the classroom. Members previously took upgrading at different schools however found the Satellite Program more of a success and enjoyment as it was closer to their homes and people they knew, therefore feeling comfortable and confident. Having this program within their community was convenient for them as they didn't require transportation and/or daycare. Sometimes going back to school may seem intimidating and overwhelming, however, the adults that attended alongside the youth made it an exciting and successful experience. This made it easier to help and support one another and gave the class more strive to keep up with their goals and achievements.
